In order to address recent stability concerns on KVM@TACC, maintenance will be performed today, August 26, 2021, from 2:00PM (CDT) to 4:00PM (CDT). During this time all instances will continue to run, but will be inaccessbile until the work is complete.

An emergency network outage at TACC has been scheduled for this afternoon, Tuesday, August 24th, from 6:00PM (CDT) to 7:00PM (CDT). Systems will be inaccessible during this time, but running instances will not be impacted. CHI@UC and Jupyter will not be affected.

UPDATE: We've cleared the issues with power management and the CHI@UC site should be stablized. Please file help desk tickets if your individual instance is having trouble coming back online.
There will be a total outage for the CHI@UC site on Monday, July 19th, due to maintenance on the power system in the data center.
In addition, JupyterHub and Trovi will not be available.

The Network Stitching feature on CHI@UC is currently non-functional.
No traffic will flow over stitched links, either new or pre-existing. This will impact any experiment on CHI@UC that uses them.
It is caused by an upstream issue, namely a network outage at ANL affecting Chameleon-EXOGENI vlans 3290-3299.
