Happy Holidays! As the year draws to a close, we’d like to thank you all for your support and patience — and for sharing with us on this blog all the exciting work you do! May the New Year bring us all lots of exciting new ideas to think about and investigate!

As in the years before, the Chameleon Help Desk will be on snooze during Holiday Break, this year starting on December 23rd. Since this is a Monday, in practice the last Help Desk day this year will be the 20th – a week from now. We will be back bright and early on January 2nd, with new energy for the New Year, and eager to put all your troubles out of sight. 

To make up for that, we will continue our “Chameleon for Christmas” double lease tradition:: as in years before, between December 19th and 22nd, you will be able to make requests for 14 day leases, not a bad thing to greet the New Year with – yes folks, this does include the GPU nodes! This way, while you are on holiday, you can make Chameleon work twice as hard for you – but make sure to meet the time window!
