IndySCC is running on Chameleon again this year!

The teams are competing for high scores on a suite of HPC benchmarks, and besides optimizing their code, must configure their own clusters out of baremetal nodes, including the operating system, libraries, networking, and batch scheduler. Purdue has configured a Chameleon Associate Site, making ~450 Haswell nodes available for the duration of the competition. The teams started work in August, and have just completed “hero runs”, running HPL across 300 nodes.The final 48 hour benchmarks are kicking off now!
