Update 2015-10-30 17:00 UTC: We have restored instances to their state prior to the first outage. You can now resume access to CHI@UC. We believe the problem should not happen again, but we will closely monitor the system for any issue.
Update 2015-10-30 13:10 UTC: The same problem has appeared again on CHI@UC and terminated all instances. We are disabling access to the system while we correct the issue.
Update 2015-10-29 20:02 UTC: All instances that were terminated yesterday have been restored.
You can now connect back to your instances and should be able to access any data that you had stored on disk, unless you redeployed your instances after they were terminated (we will get in touch with you directly if that was the case).
Note that all nodes were rebooted, so you might have to launch again any service or process not enabled to start on boot. Access to the system is enabled again and you can create new leases and instances if required.
Original post: We are investigating an issue on the bare metal cloud at UC which caused all instances to be terminated yesterday. We have disabled access to the system while we work on fixing this issue. Thank you for your understanding.
