Edge-to-Cloud Experiment Workflow (ACM-REP'23)

This artifact illustrates how to use E2Clab experiment methodology (and EnOSlib) to deploy experiments on multi-platforms, such as:

  • Chameleon Cloud + CHI@Edge
  • Grid'5000 + FIT IoT LAB

In this example, you will learn how to:

  1. Lease a machine on Grid'5000 / Chameleon Cloud (cloud server);
  2. Lease a Raspberry Pi 3 on FIT IoT LAB / CHI@Edge (edge device);
  3. Deploy MQTT broker + Deep Learning application on the cloud server for AI inference;
  4. Deploy the MQTT client on the Raspberry Pi to send images to the cloud server;
