Node copies WAL files from the WAL dir into the WAL archive dir incorrectly after WAL archive files are deleted after the node is stopped.
Workload: 1. Cluster is up and data is uploaded into caches. 2. Load to generate a lot of files in WAL archive 3. Stop a node and delete all files from the WAL archive 4. Restart the node
Impact/symptom: Excessive logging (unnecessary data copy) and incorrect files copied to WAL archive
Fix: Move files using the last archived segment index to the WAL archive instead of copying from start
Launching this artifact will open it within Chameleon’s shared Jupyter experiment environment, which is accessible to all Chameleon users with an active allocation.
