Sage Project
The goal of the Sage project is to design and build a new kind of national-scale reusable cyberinfrastructure to enable AI at the edge. The Sage-VirtualWaggle-Ubuntu18.04 image is the first step users can take to take part and interact with the unique Sage environment. The following links provide an in-depth overview of the Sage project and infrastructure.

General Description
This image contains the appropriate software required to launch important and useful Sage services. With this image, users will be able to launch an instance of virtual waggle where users can create and run their own edge plugins for running machine and deep learning related tasks. For this reason, Waggle's edge plugin repository is also built into this image for user convenience. Included with this image is software that allows a user to deploy a local beehive. Users can use beehive to push and pull their own data from a beehive server for their own interests. Ultimately, this image allows users to interact with and use Sage services. This image is dynamic and new versions will be updated to Chameleon as soon as they are created. Older versions of the Sage image will be dated to the day they were created. It should be noted that medium flavored virtual machines and compute_haswell instances are all compatible with this image.
